Can
viewers understand the message in less than ten seconds? Your
brochure is likely to be trashed if it reads more like a catalogue
than being focused on a single service or product you offer. The
more choices you offer your prospects, the greater the chance you
will confuse and lose them.
Have
you made a good first impression?
Make
the cover as powerful as possible. Use a single quality image
on the cover. Research suggests that one large image is more
effective then several small ones. Use your logo effectively.
Develop a consistent theme for your printed material.
Have
you defined your objective? You know more about your business
or subject than any rational human will ever care to know. Create
your ultimate objective around your viewer. Define your objective
up front, and write your copy with that in mind. Decide what you
want to educate the viewer. Thank the customer by making your
brochure worth their time. Make it interesting, unique and let it
support your goal.
